Biography

Rev. Dr. Zenobia Bereal (“Dr. Zee”) accepted Christ at age 10, and received the gift of the Holy Spirit at age 12.  She was reared in a Christian home as a pastor’s kid.  Dr. Bereal received a calling to teach and preach God’s Word at age 13.  Being raised in the Church of God in Christ, Dr. Zee has served in numerous church capacities, as well as jail ministry, hospital ministry, womens’ shelters, half-way houses, and other outreach ministry.  Dr. Bereal is a soloist and music/worship minister. 

Dr. Zee’s academic achievements include: a B.A. in Religion and Leadership (with honors) from Vanguard University; Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary; Masters in Divinity equivalency from Ashland Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate in Ministry from Ashland Theological Seminary.  Dr. Zee was ordained under the authority of Christian Bible Fellowship Church.  Dr. Zee is also the first African American woman to be ordained on the grounds of Fuller Theological Seminary, with formal written endorsements from well renown scholars: Dr. J. Alfred Smith and Dr. David Scholar.  Dr. Zee also received licensing as an Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ from West Angeles COGIC.  Currently, Dr. Zee serves President/CEO of Share Wisdom, a ministry that has birthed "Seminy-to-Pew" and "Let's Talk About It"; para-church ministries that are designed to reach souls who have needs outside of traditional models of teaching and therapy. Dr. Zee has served as an Adjunct Professor (Old Testament) at Vanguard University and substitute Professor in the School of Professional Studies at Vanguard.  She was also Teaching Assistant (Old Testament – Dr. Mignon Jacobs) at Fuller Theological Seminary, and Dr. J. Alfred Smith (African American Spirituality). Dr. Zee has also served as an Associate Professor of Siloam Bible College.  Dr. Zee is an Associate Pastor at Beautiful Garden Ministries, and an Elder at Community Bible Church of Pasadena.  Dr. Zee also serves a member of the Board of Directors of the West Angeles Christian Education Department.  Dr. Zee is a certified facilitator, and trainer for NAMI, a nation-wide organization that offers peer-to-peer support for persons with mental illness.  Dr. Zee chairs the faith-based arm of Vet-To-Vet, a national peer-to-peer support mental health program for veterans, and a board member of the Mental Health Support Network.  Dr. Zee is a member of West Angeles COGIC.
